Bowenfels Railway Station - where Lithgow Visitors' Centre is situated.  This attractive sandstone railway station was built in 1869 for the Zig Zag Railway. The charming little Gothic Revival stationmaster's residence (1869) is made of sandstone and features a steeply pitched slate roof and ornately carved timber bargeboards.
