Wollemi National Park offers historic ruins, bush walking in Newnes Plateau and Wolgan Valley, the Glow Worm Tunnel (Originally part of the remarkable Wolgan Valley Railway, the Glow Worm Tunnel area is today a beautiful and curious part of Wollemi National Park.)
Lake Lyell has trout fishing, swimming, skiing, power boating and hydroplane racing with a camping area which has facilities.
Dams and lakes were built in the Wallerawang area to provide water to the Power Stations. Lake Wallace construction began in 1978 and is now a popular destination for trout fishing.
Lake Wallace.... people of all ages are encouraged to sail at Lake Wallace - there are free sailing experiences on Sundays.
